EXCELLENT 3 NIGHT VISIT

We enjoyed a warm welcome from the owners at the outset.
Nothing was too much bother. Other guests got the same treatment.
The place was comfortable, very clean and quiet. We were lucky to
be able to eat in for two evenings out of three and the food was
marvellous. Stefano is a Cordon Bleu chef and it shows! Francesca
made the lovely desserts. Don’t miss the chance to dine if he is
cooking the night you are there.”

WARM SCOTTISH ITALIAN WELCOME

Francesca and Stefano were incredibly welcoming and made us
feel right at home. They have made this beautiful 1864 house into a
cozy, warm refuge, maintaining its character and charm while
furnishing it with all the modern amenities. When we arrived, we
were invited into the sitting room with a lovely fire blazing away in
the fireplace and were served tea while we chatted. The four-course
dinner offered to guests, cooked specially by Stefano, who has
apparently received a number of awards for his Italian-inspired
cuisine, sounded absolutely delicious. We were only disappointed
that we had eaten too much that day to partake this time on our one
evening there. Next visit for sure! If you are visiting the Trossachs or
Loch Lomond, a stay at Lubnaig is definitely recommended!”

casa tradicional ubicada en Lubnaig, muy linda y decorada con muy

Our favorite place to stay during our two week stay in Scotland

“Our family of five (three teenage boys) plus Granny, just loved our
stay at Lubnaig. Francesca & Stefano were amazing - warm,
gracious and so friendly. The accommodations were outstanding -
and the breakfast was terrific. If you ask, they will also prepare you
a four course dinner (for an additional charge), which was a
highlight of our trip. Don’t ask any questions, just say “yes” to
Stefano’s meal plan and Francesca’s dessert...just relax and go
with the flow. They have a strong wine collection - which perfectly
compliments the entire evening. We loved it!”

Amazing hospitality

“We only stayed for one night in the wonderful B&B of Francesca
and Stefano, but their place is a reason to come back to Scotland
overall. The place feels like a home abroad and even at our very
short stay we felt like a part of their travellers family. The rooms are
lovely, the garden wonderful, excellent breakfast, and you can feel
how the two owners love what they are doing all the time. Thanks a
lot for offering such a lovely spot in Callander.”

“This is a classic example of transforming the B&B business. A
beautiful old house brought up to date with modern tasteful interior,
add a lovely welcoming couple, result a really relaxing stay. Add to
the mix that both Francesca and Stefano are chefs and the magic
happens! We will definitely return.”

“We stayed one night at Lubnaig House which was a mistake: we
should have stayed the week! Francesca and Stefano are
extremely nice and make you feel at home right away. The rooms
and house are beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was top notch, I
appreciated the unlimited coffee refills! This is the type of place you
remember and we will be coming back!”

“Si, mi sono innamorata di questo posto. Di Callander, cittadina
ordinata con ogni tipo di servizi, splendido parco e Fiume. Con
abitanti che ti salutano X strada. Di questa meravigliosa casa dalla
splendida struttura, giardino e posizione. E poi di loro. Di
Francesca&Stefano che ti trasmettono la passione X il loro lavoro
che si nota negli impeccabili arredi, in ogni piccolo particolare e
nella loro cortesia e grande disponibilità. Noi non siamo riusciti, ma
vi suggerisco di prenotare anche la cena da loro. Sono magnifici e
grazie a loro serberò un ricordo ancor più indelebile della Scozia.

“Das Lubnaig Guest House, seit diesem Jahr unter Leitung der
unheimlich netten Gastegeber Francesca und Steffano, ist ein toller
Ort um ein paar Nächte zu verbringen. Angefangen beim herzlichen
Empfang, dem sehr sauberen Zimmer (und vor allem Bad), über
das ausgezeichnete Frühstück bis hin zum netten Abschied hat
einfach alles gestimmt. Hier kann man sich so richtig wohl fühlen.
Die beiden Eigentümer haben das alte Haus mit viel Liebe
renoviert. Der Speisesaal ist hell und freundlich, die freigelegten
Wände zeigen die rustikale schottische Bausubstanz und dennoch
strahlt der helle Raum eine nahezu mediterrane Atmosphäre aus.
Die beste Verbindung zwischen Schottland und Italien! Steffanos
Frühstück ist prima und die Betten sind gut. Hierher kommen wir
gerne zurück, wenn wir wieder…”

“Siamo stati molto fortunati a scegliere questa struttura. La location
è molto bella ed immersa nel verde.
I proprietari Stefano e Francesca molto disponibili e gentili,
mettono subito a loro agio i propri ospiti facendoli sentire a casa
propria.
Pulito e curato sin nei minimi particolari.
Stefano cucina molto bene,il suo amore per la cucina lo si evince
da come presenta i suoi piatti, persino un semplice uovo in camicia
nelle sue mani diventa un’opera d’arte.
Un tocco di Italian Style che fa apprezzare ancor di più la bellezza e
la magia della Scozia.”
